By supporting our project, you give 14 underprivileged Colombian students the chance to pursue their university dreams. Your donation funds their education, helping them envision a brighter future. Each semester, Fundacion Zua invests up to $USD 850 for tuition. Each of these students, in return, provides 20 hours of tutoring per week. With your help, they can break the cycle of poverty and empower themselves to transform their lives and the lives of over 100 children in their communities.
Young students from the localities of Bogota (Patio Bonito and Bosa) and the Cauca Department, disadvantaged areas in Colombia, are fighting for the chance to study. Exposed to violence, conflicts, drugs, and gangs, they mainly face educational inequalities that prevent them from dreaming of a career. Their social and economic opportunities are extremely limited. This project offers them the chance to dream of a better future by providing access to university.
Zua Foundation is offering these young students access to higher education. By funding university tuition for these students, we empower them to pursue their academic goals and break the cycle of poverty. In exchange for this access to university, students commit to supporting 100 children from the Zua Foundation, thus fostering a sense of community and resilience.
The project will educate 14 youths disfavored Colombians allowing them to break their cycle of poverty, to overcome the difficulties they are confronted with in their environment. They shall have opportunities to develop their intellectual capacities, with the ability to dream and realize their dreams. They then become part of the solution and process that shall contribute to the transformation of their community for the better.
