Challenge

Hannah and her mom Jordan are homeless and living in shelter in the USA after escaping abuse in Bulgaria. We were able to help them with airline tickets to get home. They can only stay in shelter for 30 days and need a place to live.

Solution

Jordan needs the first months rent of $800 and a deposit of $400 so she and Hannah can move into their own apartment. We are hoping we can have them in their own home before the holidays.

Long-Term Impact

The project serves 500 women per year empowering them to find alternatives to a life of violence so their children grow up in violence free homes with their self-esteem in tact with the hope of stopping the cycle of violence in future generations.
