We always hear a lot of myths about children from slum areas. Mainly in Pakistan, we get to hear how kids from slum areas are ill-mannered and cannot be a part of our normal and educated society. Due to all these myths, a lot of people do not interact with these children, and the myths are never challenged. However, Muwakhat Foundation has been organizing Grand Iftaar for the homeless for the last few years and openly proves that these myths are just myths and need to be busted.
Every Ramadan, the homeless families have a hard time arranging food for Iftar to break their fast. Muwakhat Foundation will organize a grand Iftaar for these homeless families so they can enjoy an Iftar without any stress.
Muwakhat Foundation will give out protein-based meals, dates, mangoes, bananas, and samosas. Muwakhat Foundation will also give Rooh Afza and water.
Grand Iftar helps these families feel a part of society and builds a trusting relationship.
