It was all hugs smiles and tears when Vanesa, a young mother of two could walk for the first time after 26 years of using crutches.
Thanks to your help, Vanessa an now run and play with her sons like she never could before. This smiling young woman was born without one of her legs.This means that she can only walk by using crutches, which render her unable to use her hands, play with her kids and move freely around her house.
She is now 26 and wishes to be able to play and hold her little baby with both hands and be able to play with her other son too. Unfortunately, she could only watch then and dream about having the opportunity to do that one day.
Thanks to your generous support and our efforts, Vanesa can now play with her kids, walk around, cook and achieve her potential as a dedicated mother. Now, she can take her son to school, and work part time to give them a better future.
Her new leg will helped her access new opportunities to have a healthier, more active and fullfilling life and more importantly the opportunity to build a better future for her and her family. Thanks to your donations, Vanesa’s story is living proof of what generosity and solidarity can achieve.
Thanks to you, we were able to gave her not only a prostheses, but a reason to smile and look forward to every day.
