Thanks so much for helping to provide a year of school for Noldy!
Noldy’s mom was killed in the 2010 Haitian earthquake, and his dad was left unable to care for their eight children. So he made the heartbreaking decision to leave Noldy, and his brother and sister, at the HTDC orphanage.
Noldy’s dad hoped the orphanage could send his son to school, but with so many other needs, like food, to worry about, the orphanage struggled to provide Noldy with an education.
Without an education, Noldy’s future looked bleak. Without basic literacy and numeracy, he would almost certainly have been doomed to a life of poverty.
But Noldy is lucky - he has you in his life.
Your fantastic generosity means that we’ll be able to keep Noldy in school and learning the skills he needs to build a brighter tomorrow.
We’ll be able to support Noldy because you chose to give. There are so many things you could have spent your hard earned money on, but you chose Noldy. Thanks so much.
We’ll keep updating you about Noldy and all his classmates through this project’s parent page, Provide a Safe Home for Haitian Orphans. If you ever have any questions about how we're using your donation, please email andy@IDVolunteers.org. I'd love to hear from you!
