This project will provide a year of nutritious food for Nefki. Nefki is ten years old and, after his dad died, his aunt couldn't afford to care for Nefky and brought him to the orphanage. Despite all he's been through Nefki is a helpful and responsible child who loves to draw. But without nutritious meals to keep him growing, Nefki's future will be bleak.
As an orphan, Nefki is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There isn't a nationwide child protection service operating in Haiti to provide for her basic needs. That means that, without your help, Nefki may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving him more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.
