This project will provide a year of nutritious food for Kristelle. Kristelle isn't sure how old she is - we think she's around 7. Her dad was forced to abandon her after Kristelle's mom left and he couldn't feed her anymore. Kristelle was sick and malnourished when she arrived, but now, thanks to healthy meals, she's making friends, enjoying school, and looking forward to tomorrow. But without nutritious meals to keep her growing, Kristelle 's future will be bleak.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
As an orphan, Kristelle is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There isn't a nationwide child protection service operating in Haiti to provide for her basic needs. That means that, without your help, Kristelle may have to go without nutritious meals, leaving her more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.
How will this project solve this problem?
By donating today, you'll help us provide the food Kristelle needs to stay healthy.
Potential Long Term Impact
A healthy, balanced diet prevents illness and promotes healthy growth. By providing the nutritious food Kristelle needs, you're preventing illness and helping her grow up strong!
