Give Kenson a year of food

A microproject by International Disaster Volunteers (IDV)
Give Kenson a year of food

This project will provide a year of nutritious food for Kenson. Kenson's mum is alive but she was homeless and living on the streets, and couldn't afford to feed him. So, she was forced to abandon Kenson at the HTDC orphanage. But the orphanage also struggles to feed Kenson and without nutritious meals to keep him growing, Wikenson's future will be bleak.

As an orphan, Kenson is among the most vulnerable of Haitian children. There isn't an effective nationwide child protection service operating in Haiti to provide for his basic needs. This means that, without your help, Kenson will have to go without nutritious meals, leaving him more vulnerable to illness and less healthy.

By donating today, you'll help us provide the food Kenson needs to stay healthy. Donations to this project will cover Kenson's share of the food costs over a year, but will be spent on all the children in parallel as we fundraise for each in turn.

Long-Term Impact

A healthy, balanced diet prevents illness and promotes healthy growth. By providing the nutritious food Kenson needs, you're preventing illness and helping him grow up strong!
