This project will support Mrs Mary, to mend her leaking roof, buy a mattress and stop sleeping on the floor and also have enough food, to take good care of herself and her poor grown up children. Mrs Mary is a poor elderly widow from Nnewi, Anambra State, who eats twice a day with her children, in order to maintain life. She sleeps on the floor with her children, under a leaking roof in this rainy season and needs urgent support to mend the roof, buy a mattress and food items.
Mrs Mary is an elderly widow who is wallowing in abject poverty in Nnewi, Anambra State. She eats only two times a day and still manages to feed her poor grown up children, from the little sales she makes from her farm produce. She sleeps on the floor with her children, under a leaking roof in a house that resembles an animal house and was down with sickness with her children recently, as a result of cold from sleeping on the floor in this rainy season.
We will provide her with food items, mattress and also help her in mending her leaking roof, in order to make the house inhabitable for her and her children again.
Mrs Mary will have enough food for herself and her children to be eating plus a mattress where they can sleep and wake up, feeling very healthy. She will also stop having the fear of the rain damaging things for them anytime it rains, during the rainy season, as the leaking roof would have been repaired.
