Our second batch of 10 kindergarten students have been going to school since the new school year started last July from Monday through Friday from 8 to 11
In just few months, they have learned so much. For example, they learn about being grateful to themselves and people surround them. This is something that they probably don’t get from their parents. We also teach them how to be independent and to build their confidence. Also, equally important is their physical activities.
The clean and nice facility, the uniforms that the children wear and all other learning supports are what we promise to provide when we prepared this project for the trash picker’s children because they too deserve to get good education in a good environment.
Unfortunately, the funding goal for this microproject was not met within the time allocated. We have to retired this project. So, we have to continue finding ways to support this program As we have learned from the success of our first year pilot project, we strongly believe that the education starts as soon as possible.
We will keep moving forward with the pgoram & improvements for the early education not just for the trash pickers children but also for the community around us
Thank you so very much to all donors who believe in this project. We would like you to continue to stay connected with us through our other project on GlobalGiving.
