Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan thanks you for the same from the bottom of the heart.
Women, in rural region have limited resources of livelihood due to which they often adopt some traditional sources as animal husbandary and agriculture for livelihood, but such sources don't get them enough remuneration in the comparision of their hard labour. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan keeps striving to make such women self-reliant and in the series, the organization provides better opportunities of employment by giving skill development training to such women.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized a garment making skill development training with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation in which women trainees learned to sew different types of garments. Among all the trainees of the trainees, RSKS gave free sewing machines to 4 widows to establish self-employment unit at their places. The financial conditions of the beneficiaries was worst and they were not able to start self-employment. But, the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors made it possible for them and now they unit gets them earnings at their places.
Amina Bano is 32 years old who got married 4 years ago but the sudden death of her husband got her isolated from the family and the society. When she came to know about the garment making training being organized by RSKS, she immediately got herself registered as a trainee and completed the training. At the completion of the training, she got free sewing machine by the organization with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors. Now, Amina Bano works at her home and earns livelihood. According to her, she is now stable and has become self-reliant for which she thanks RSKS, GlobalGiving Foundation and the donors from the core of the heart.
The support and contribution of GlobalGiving Foundation in the project “Give A Sewing Machine to a Single Mother” is commendable! And the contribution of Donors deserves praise together. Women Empowerment programe successfully with the help of the donors!!
