We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.
Funds are the most required for starting a business. marginalized Women can't meet this requirement to start a business in villages and poor urban areas and thus, they can't start their business. Some women take loan from moneylenders at a high rate of interest and start their business, but paying the installments of principal and the interest, they couldn't manage the business properly and have to bear loss in the business. Therefore, talent of poor women remains hidden in the darkness.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, in collaboration with GlobalGiving Foundation, distributed 20 sewing machines to divorced, single mother, disable women at Bhagwanpura Nadi and Khanpura, Daurai and Ajmer. The sewing machines were distributed for to get such women better livelihood and employment.
All women were so happy and excited because now they had sewing machine to establish the self-employment. Now, with the help of the machine they can work at their homes and earn and able to nurture their families. a woman activist of the organisation had conversations with the benficiaries and came to know about their experience.
IMPACT Story 1 !!!
Twenty-eight years old Sita, one of the beneficiaries, is a divorced woman resides at village Saradhna and has 11 years old girl child. She got all sorts of trouble after being divorced. She got all the responsibilites to feed the family. Having no source of income she somehow managed to nurute the child. She had interest in sewing and did sewing very ofter but she had to borrow sewing machine from neighbourhood. Now, she is so happy because she has got her own sewing machine and she thanks Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan to give her an opportunity to be employed.
IMPACT Story 2 !!!
Shahin is one such woman and here is the story in her own words. My name is Shahin, and I am 32 years old. I am disabled (Poliyo) with both legs since childhood. I have a child and my husband is also a disabled person. He is unemployed as there is no source of income in Daurai due to which our condition is worst. We find ourselves difficult to nurture the family even can't afford school fee of my child. As I am a muslim, I can't go out to work. After getting bag making training organised by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, I have got a source of earning at my home. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, Donors and GlobalGiving Foundation provided me a sewing machine and I am making bags at my place using the machine. I sell the bags and earn money.
IMPACT Story 3 !!!
Twenty-seven years old Gayatri is one of the poor women resides in Ajmer. She does household chores at other places. Her husband dies in an accident at an early age and she got the burden of the responsibilities of her family. She had three children and she managed the family and their education on her own somehow as she didn't earn much by doing household chores. One day she met with one of our activists and apply for sewing machine. She knew to sew, so she got a sewing machine from Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansth with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation. She was so happy and now she stitches clothes in her leisure and earns enough to meet the requirements of her family. She has observed some positive changes in her life, for which, she thanks GlobalGiving and Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan.
