Thank you for supporting our noble cause

By Julia Matthew | Managing Director

Hello to all our wonderful Supporters,

It’s an immense joy and honor for us to send this report to you. We convey our warm season's greetings to you and your family.

Thank you for all your wonderful support for our noble cause. We are so grateful- without you, we would not be able to provide the support our most vulnerable neighbors needed. We couldn’t do our work without you. Thank you for stepping up and taking action.

It is often so difficult to get funds for meals for all needy children in the slums and streets of Goa. During the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been even more difficult than usual as so many loving, caring and generous supporters are now in a position of unease and worry about losing their jobs and ability to feed themselves!

But Christmas is a time for caring and sharing - and although people fear for their own livelihoods, they were so generous again this Christmas season. Thanks to the stupendous support from individuals from all around the world, we have now served over and above 4000 meals during the Christmas Eve.

By considering these critical circumstances, we decided to feed at least 200 people every day and feeding homeless people including street children with nutritious food which includes steamed cooked rice, pickle, mixed vegetable curry, varieties of dal, etc. With this nutritious food the homeless people are very happy and satisfied.

It’s through the generous donations of funds, supplies and volunteerism that we’ve been able to feed hundreds of thousands of people in need. We have learned that our impact is only as significant as the generosity of our community and because of this we can proudly say that our impact is huge!
