Holiday season is here. And so are winters. Gift the street & slum children of Dehradun good health and winter care through warm clothes and protective gear. Ensure they are protected against cold so they can study without getting sick. With your help, we aim to reach close to a 1000 children on the streets with little or no clothing to protect them. Join us in our cause to spread the warmth in the lives of our children.
Most of our children are rag pickers, beggars, slum dwellers and orphans. They work in harsh weathers to make ends meet. Some of them come to our learning centres without any proper clothing or shoesforget appropriate winter wear! They are cold and under clothed. They are at the constant risk of falling sick.
Like every year, we aim to provide adequate winter wear to close to 1000 street & slum children in Dehradun. During this festive season, we plan to give our children the Gift of Good Health through warm winter clothes ranging from tracksuits to sweaters and school uniform for mainstreamed children (woolen pants and blazers)
Our aim is to provide equal opportunity to children irrespective of their socio-economic background. They should gain education through books or through skill training. No child can be educated if they are cold, hungry or sick.They should be well nourished, in a safe environment and protected from all possible diseases. We are reaching close to a thousand street & slum children in Dehradun. We want to provide them with every possible opportunity to flourish and maximize their true potential.
