This project solves the problem undernourishment of our children by providing every day snacks (ground nuts, potato chips, samosa, biscuits, chocolates). With this the unfortunate children get energy in their study hours and improves their concentration. They will study well and progress in their careers.
Most of our children come from very poor families. Their nutrition levels are abysmal and they are easily prone to viral fevers, communicable diseases etc. Because of poor health, they are not able to concentrate on their studies. They play sports & games in the school after school hours. After school hours in the evening, they are feeling too tired to study or play. Some of our children are anemic too.
This micro project helps to provide snacks (ground nuts, biscuits, boiled eggs, chocolates) to the underprivileged children at evening after school hours. In our Sphoorti Children's Home, there are 160 children being provided basic needs. We have children studying STD I to STD X. When they reach home, they feel tired and hungry. The evening snacks gives them energy to concentrate on their studies as well as take part in evening sports. This cost is for 1 months.
Each day, we keep getting requests for admission of children who lost their parents in tragic situations. This project provides long-term support 200 children allowing them to break out of illiteracy and poverty. It project brings improvement of children's health, awareness of their rights and makes them more employable in the long run.
