Stacey is a courageous 17-year-old girl from Uganda currently in Grade 7, battling the life-long challenges posed by sickle cell anemia. Since birth, she has faced numerous health complications, including severe pain crises, multiple surgeries, and ultimately the destruction of her hip joint. With her health deteriorating, she finds herself relying on strong painkillers to manage her daily pain, which is not a sustainable solution. The only viable option for a cure is a bone marrow transplant
Repeated crises have led to significant physical impairment, including the current destruction of her hip joint, and ongoing, debilitating pain. Despite her enthusiasm for education, her condition severely limits her ability to attend school and participate in daily activities.
We are reaching out to compassionate individuals and organizations who wish to make a difference in Stacey's life. Your generous support can help fund this critical medical procedure and help restore Tracey's health, allowing her to thrive in her academic pursuits and beyond
By funding Stacey's bone marrow transplant, we will not only provide her with the chance at a new life free from the pain and limitations of sickle cell anemia but also inspire hope in many other children facing similar battles. With your support, Tracey will have the opportunity to pursue her education, engage in community activities, and realize her dreams without the scourge of illness.
