Shoshan Haran, Fair Planet's Founder & President, and 9 members of her family, including her grandchildren - Nave (aged 8) & Yahel (aged 3) - were seized and taken to Gaza during the recent Hamas massacre. Shoshan's husband Avshalom, sister Lilach & brother-in-law, Eviatar are among the 1,400 Israelis brutally murdered. WE MUST BRING THEM ALL HOME SAFELY. Donate here, and the money collected will go to supporting Shoshan's family in their struggle to bring their loved ones home.
Shoshan Haran was born and raised in Kibbutz Be'eri, one of Israel's most successful and iconic kibbutzim. On October 7th, the kibbutz near Gaza became the site of a massacre. Hamas terrorists stormed the kibbutz - many of whose members were social and peace activists - and began a ruthless door-to-door slaughter, murder, and kidnapping, leaving behind a trail of blood and devastation on an unimaginable and inhuman scale.
Shoshan's extended family had gathered at her home for the Sukkot holiday. While ten family members were initially thought missing after the massacre, it is now believed that Shoshan, her daughter Adi, her husband Tal and their two children - Yael aged 3 and Nave aged 8, as well as Shoshan's sister-in-law, Sharon, and her 12-year-old daughter, Noam were abducted. Shoshan's husband, sister and brother-in-law were murdered. As they left, the terrorists detonated the home with explosives.
Shoshan, an agricultural expert, has dedicated her life to helping impoverished African farmers, the backbone of Africa's food security & economy. For over a decade, Fair Planet, the globally acclaimed project she founded, has enabled tens of thousands of farmers to escape the cycle of poverty & hunger, and provided an estimated million Africans with a reliable source of food. Bringing her back will enable her dream of a hunger-free world to continue.
