We need to raise more than 1,300 Christmas dinners so that this December 24, we can show all those who were once abandoned that on Christmas Eve, wishes can come true.
Through this gesture, they will be able to feel the affection of those who make possible the greatest gift: to have the security of living in peace and care until the last day of their lives.
Our only wish this Christmas is to make sure that the elderly people who live in our Shelter Homes, Residences and Hospices all over Chile, can celebrate this special date. The best gift we can give them is to share with them a great dinner and stay united as the family we are, celebrating that, thanks to the help of many, they can live the magic of Christmas.
Our Elderly are subject of rights, so they deserve our respect, honor, and care reflected in equal access to essential services and inclusive public policies, so they can fully participate in society. The experience of Hogar de Cristo earned through In-Home Care Programs allows our foundation to identify those more sensitive-fragile cases and address on time coordinating with health care and social network services to avoid our Elderly people dying alone.
