Report from Living Roots

By McKenzie Campbell | Project Director

This fall, with the funds raised through Global Giving, Living Roots will be collaborating with Raiz del Fondo, a La Paz, Mexico based community garden non-profit to offer training and support for the secondary school in San Javier.  Students will plant a model garden, learn water saving strategies, composting and seed saving techniques.  Ultimately, students will be able to eat from their garden and share tips and tricks with their families on ranches throughout the region.

We are so honored to be working with such an amazing community. We are getting a great deal of participation from community members as well as local and international organizations working in the area.
