When the whole world is fighting critical Corona Virus war, our 1000 vulnerable slum children and their families are finding it much more difficult to deal with the situation with limited resources. Your funds will support us to supply Food, Medical support and Other Essentials to these children who stay in poor slums and are helpless in fighting this pandemic.
Project RISE covers more than 1000 vulnerable slum children located in different slums of Delhi, India. These children are very prone to get infected by the pandemic Corona , COVID - 19 virus and will not be able to sustain the damage. In this scenario, the funds raised from this project shall support our organization to help these children and their families to avail nutritional food supply, essentials and medicinal support.
1000 children are directly covered under an Educational program run through our organization and through our field staff, local government medical support and local bodies, essentials shall be provided time to time at door steps, frequent medical support at government clinics and through door to door awareness campaigns too. The campaign is already running and the added support shall expedite and expand at larger and deeper level.
The project will facilitate support these children with emergency support, support government movement to fight global virus war & simultaneously help us work towards the Sustainable Development Goal 2 and 3 of zero hunger and good health & well-being. The improved nutrition will ultimately help our goal to provide quality education for all and in the long term turn wheels to reach SDG 4 & 10, Quality Education and Reduced Inequalities.
