When the whole world is fighting the critical Corona Virus war, our 1000 vulnerable slum children and their families are finding it much more difficult to deal with the situation with limited resources. Your funds will support us to supply Food, Medical support, and Other Essentials to these children who stay in poor slums and are helpless in fighting this pandemic.
When the whole world is fighting the critical Corona Virus war, our 1000 vulnerable slum children and their families are finding it much more difficult to deal with the situation with limited resources. Your funds will support us to supply Food, Medical support, and Other Essentials to these children who stay in poor slums and are helpless in fighting this pandemic.
1000 children are directly covered under an Educational program run through our organization and through our field staff, local government medical support, and local bodies, essentials shall be provided from time to time at doorsteps, frequent medical support at government clinics, and through the door to door awareness campaigns too. The campaign is already running and the added support shall expedite and expand at a larger and deeper level.
The project will help 500 children remain in school and complete their cycle of primary education. The project would generate the interest of parents and children in getting educated and understanding value of education. A resource pool will be created in the community through capacity building and training of teachers for long term sustainability. The project would also help in reducing child labour and restoring their Right to Education, thereby giving them a brighter future.
