Every year, Muwakhat Foundation distribute new Eid clothes to homeless children and orphans. This year, the first time is going to celebrate Eid day with 700 children by giving gifts, lunch box, Eidi, arrange magic show and cartoon hours. We plan to arrange small drawing and speech competition between children to bring their skills.
The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr should be the happiest time for Muslim children. It's traditionally a time for presents, wear new clothes, enjoy with friends, eat food, attend magic show etc but some children never enjoy this day and spend Eid day as other normal days. No new clothes, no food, no play with friends and most of them sleep one night before with tears for not have new clothes and money to spend on Eid day.
On Eid day, they wear new clothes, eat good & healthy food, watch cartoon, saw magic show and some participate in the competition of drawing and speech. This was the first time for them to celebrate Eid as traditionally other Muslim children.
It helps to reduce long term vulnerability and live respectable life as citizen of Pakistan.
