Dear donors and supporters!
Greetings from BASS, India
We're writing to provide an update on our "Floods India" microproject on GlobalGiving. While we're immensely grateful for the support received, we unfortunately did not reach our initial fundraising goal, securing $160 USD.
However, the urgent needs in flood-affected areas of Vijayawada, particularly Old Raj Rajeswari Pet and Vambay Nagar, remained critical. Despite the limited funds raised through this specific microproject, BASS Team India successfully mobilized resources from other sources to provide crucial relief to over 800 families.
Impact on the Ground
We're proud to report on the direct impact of our efforts:
Overcoming Challenges
The scale of the devastation in Vijayawada presented immense challenges, with thousands of families affected. While prioritizing support to so many was difficult, we leveraged all available resources to ensure that significant aid reached those most vulnerable.
Gratitude
Even though this particular project didn't reach its financial goal, the spirit of generosity from our donors, combined with the tireless efforts of our team and support from other sources, allowed us to make a substantial difference in the lives of flood-affected families in Vijayawada.
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to this microproject and supported our wider relief efforts. Your commitment enabled us to provide much-needed assistance during a critical time.
Please also support our other project –
With gratitude,
The BASS Team India
