Hundreds of rescued animals depend on VINE Sanctuary, but our reserves are running low. Animals at the sanctuary include chickens, cows, ducks, goats, geese, sheep, turkeys, alpacas, guineafowl, and emus. Collectively, they co-create a multispecies community where their mutual care and respect for difference inspire humans to rethink their relationships with animals and nature. Your donation to our spring sprint to fill the feeders will ensure that they all have enough to eat!
Hundreds of rescued animals rely on VINE Sanctuary for the basics of life: Food, water, bedding, and veterinary care. Like many nonprofits at this time of global upheaval, VINE has seen prices rise while donations drop. Our cash flow is dangerously low. But we know we can count on our extended community. If enough people give just a little bit, we will be able to continue to care for all of the flocks and herds of animals who count on us.
As a multi-species community devoted to mutual respect and care, we believe in the power of the crowd to solve any problem. Just $11 buys a hundred pounds of hay for cows, goats, and sheep. $16 buys a sack of scratch feed. $20 buys a sack of black oil sunflower seeds for chickens and other birds. $27 pays for two week's worth of hay pellets for male goats, and $37 buys a week's worth of seeds for rescued pigeons. $55 buys a bale of hay. Together, our friends can fill the feeders this spring!
Everything begins with breakfast. All of VINE's education, animal advocacy, and veganism promotion programs require the survival of the sanctuary itself. So, by helping to fund the most basic cost of maintaining the sanctuary, you are also contributing to ALL of VINE's projects, including our virtual humane education program that goes out to scores of elementary school classrooms all over the country!
