Summary

There's nothing quite like Christmas to bring out the child in everyone. This project will bring joy and hope to Goa's 700 desperately needy children. By fostering a sense of community and providing nourishment, El Shaddai will create lasting memories and reinforce the value of care and compassion. We are committed to easing the pain of child hunger and abandonment by providing nourishing meals and heartfelt care. By sharing a Christmas meal with these children, we offer them more than food.

Challenge

While we celebrate the birth of Jesus with feasts and family, many children in Goa's slums and impoverished communities face Christmas with empty plates and heavy hearts. These children, living in deep poverty, go without even the simplest meal as they watch others dressed in festive colours and enjoying holiday meals. For them, the holiday highlights a painful reality of being left out, leading to feelings of hopelessness and desperation.

Solution

At El Shaddai, alongside our generous supporters, we believe no child should feel unloved or forgotten on Christmas. Together, we have an incredible opportunity to make a difference. With your help, we aim to feed 700 vulnerable children this Christmas, filling their hearts and plates with warmth, love, and joy.

Long-Term Impact

This project is more than a holiday meal. It's a reminder to these children that they are not alone, and that they are valued and loved. By filling their hearts and bellies, we inspire hope, foster self-worth, and create memories that sustain them well beyond Christmas. This Christmas, let's bring love, food, and a spark of hope to India's most vulnerable children. Together, we can make this a season of warmth, kindness, and lasting impact.
