Our kitchen is built! We are so thankful to the many people who have donated their time, energy and funds to make this dream come true at the Live and Learn in Kenya Education Center in Nakuru, Kenya. Where once was just a 3-sided shack stood, which had literally gotten blown away during a bad storm, is now a very solidly built kitchen building. Food can now be cooked for our children in a clean and hygienic - and modern - kitchen.
It is amazing to see the Live and Learn in Kenya Education Center grow and grow. But it is absolutely awesome to experience the generosity of the many donors - especially when they know for a fact that their money is being used for exactly what the donated for.
We will officially open the doors to the kitchen on November 4, 2017 during our annual visit to Nakuru. We will be celebrating with all of the children, parents, staff, friends and the 23 visitors in the delegation from Germany and Netherlands. So more photos are coming soon!
