Many times, it is the female that is empowered but never the male. At Another Hope Children’s
Ministries (AHCM), we believe that if men are given a chance to address some of the issues women face,
then a quick impact will be reached at. Yes we may teach and train women in all sorts of things, but
when the household head who is the man is left with no knowledge of handling a home or managing his
children, we feel our efforts are wasted. Because of this, AHCM, started a project of training fathers in
these roles. We have seen so many changes in fathers. Children have reported better communication
with their dads, and wives have felt a great relief seeing their husbands helping to raise the children.
I, the Founder and Executive Director of Another Hope Children’s Ministries, have grown up with no father figure in my life. I have had issues relating with
the opposite sex. Thank God who has intervened in my life and fathered me. A number of adults face
these challenges that stem from their backgrounds, and we can reduce these negative effects if we all
put in some effort.
We are glad for the support that helped us train 28 fathers in the role of a father in a child’s life. The
stories we hear were so much encouraging that we are continuing this activity.
Some of the stories are in the videos below:
Special thanks to our friends that supported this great training. May God bless you.
Thanks for your loving heart
