Hey there!
AASD's farmer education center in partnership with Ecohuella farm continues to develop here in the Sacred Valley. While we've come a long way in the last year, we are still hoping to raise some more funds to complete the furnishing of this dynamic educational space. In the meantime, we've begun hosting workshops on site, using the classroom space for the theoretical portion of our workshops. Over the next few months we'll be undertaking the following developments at the farmer education center:
Most excitingly, in September, we'll be officially launching the Ecohuella farmer education center and our community seed bank (currently under development)! We're planning a big celebration where we'll host community members, local organizations, and farmers from around the region to join our celebration. We're planning out a multi-day series of workshops, knowledge exchanges and the first on-site organic seed exchange. Keep an eye out for updates. We can't wait!
If you'd like to contribute to this event or the finishing touches of the farmer field school, visit our active project page on GlobalGiving to do so! Please follow our progress and be in touch if you'd like to come visit our work here in Peru.

Much love from the crew here at AASD!
