Traditionally cultivating the farm in the village of Mahayag is done by hand. This is laborious, takes time and targeting the farm-season is difficult. With a heavy-duty, small farm tractor, farming will be more efficient and production will be high. We need to refurbish, repair and deploy a second-hand tractor to do this job.
A small, heavy-duty, robust farm tractor can do wonders to farming in our village. We need to repair, refurbish and deploy a 14-horsepower tractor to make life more easier, farming efficient and profitable. We have not done this before and farmers rely on ancient, inefficient iron hand tools in cultivating their farms. Deploying a tractor is an innovation we need to do.
A small, robust farm tractor to be used cooperatively by farmer will do wonders to crop production and farm profitability as it will be easier to do farm work, more timely farming schedule and large area is cultivated per time.
The well-being of poor farmers especially those living in remote villages is of outmost importance for a healthy community. Stability of the villages as a result of positive contributions by local citizens is of outmost importance and there is a need to support this.
