Ensure Safe Drinking Water for 100 Girls in India

Summary

For the 100 girls who live together at an Udaan school in Mewat, Haryana province in India, getting an education is a dream come true. This residential school provides for nearly all of their needs - education, food, shelter and recreation. But they need clean, consistent drinking water in order to improve their health and reduce frequent illnesses and the medical cost for these girls.

Challenge

Clean drinking water is a problem that affects the health of girls through out the academic year. Most of them suffer from skin problems, infections and typhoid. A consistent and clean source of drinking water will keep them healthier to focus on their studies to get ready for the next level of education.

Solution

Provide a RO Water filter Cooler which can serve safe drinking water for 100 girls in a residential campus at a time.

Long-Term Impact

Access to clean healthy water will prevent these girls from illness and needless time away from their studies.
