We aim to launch a Mobile School using a motorbike to bring education, digital skills, and play to children forced into labor at brick kilns in Badabher, Peshawar. Help us break the cycle of bonded labor by educating and empowering these children.
In the underprivileged region of Badabher, Peshawar, dozens of families work under harsh conditions in brick kilns, having taken loans from contractors with high interest. These debts are often passed down, trapping entire families-including their children-in bonded labor. Children are forced to work instead of attending school. This ongoing exploitation robs them of their right to education, future opportunities, and a childhood.
Dosti Welfare Organization plans to establish Mobile School using a specially equipped motorcycle to visit these kiln communities daily. The Mobile School will: 1. Bring a trained teacher to teach literacy, numeracy, and digital skills 2. Carry a portable learning box containing books, tablets, a screen, and educational materials 3. Provide sports kits and weekly physical activities to promote well-being 4. Use a customized, accelerated syllabus designed for out-of-school children
By providing nonformal education to millions of out-of-school children, we're not just teaching them to read and write; we're equipping them with skills for life. Such education catalyzes economic growth, lifting individuals and communities out of poverty. It also nurtures principles of equality and democracy, promoting peace across the nation. This initiative doesn't just change lives; it has the potential to transform Pakistan into a peaceful, prosperous, and innovative society.
