Dear Friend, Donors & Valuable Supporters.
Under the micro project "Empowering poor women with sustainable livelihood", directed by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan with the financial support of Global Giving Foundation, and respectable donors, a new ''women self help group'' of 12 women of deprived community has been created by the organisation in village Karnaus of block Pisangan, Ajmer. The group, with the consent of all, has been named "Tamanna SHG".
These 12 women are being instructed to learn about saving credits, financial ability, solidarity by the women self help group. To cultivate saving trend, each women of "Tamanna" self help group now saves Rs. 100 per month. This saving will help them in their hard time.
Mrs. Shaeen, 32 years old member of "Tamanna women self help group", is so happy to join the group and says,"She is a poor farmer doesn't own Agri land, so she has to labor to discharge the livelihood of her family. Due to being a landless farmer, banks do not help them in providing loan. They have to take loan from moneylenders at high rates. But now, I'm so happy after joining the SHG group and because it improves me financially as well as I can get financial help from the group and being a member of "Tamanna", with the help of the group, I can get a bank loan to establish self-employment that will definitely help me to improve the financial status of my family. The women self group is the first step for the empowerment of poor women like me."
On behalf of the beneficiaries, RSKS India would like to thank you for your generous donation to help them.
