Respected Donor Namaste!!

Warm Greeting from RSKS India !!

We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.

Women in rural areas and slums are not economically strengthen. They depend on others for financial requirements, moreover they Dependent on family members to meet their basic requirements. In such situations, they have to think to initialize self-employment as the financial conditions of the families of these women is pathetic.

In order to make such women economically strengthen, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, established self-help groups. The organization selected many poor women in the distant villages of Pisangan Block and established self-help groups. The members of the groups were supported to get Bank loan for initializing self-employment. All women were happy to get bank loan at low rate of interest as they were able to start self-employment. They utilized the loan amount to start animal husbandary, fancy stores and dairy, etc. As the rate of interest is low, they have been repaying the installment of loan along with the interest very easily and having growth in their employment. The activists of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan take meetings of the groups every month where they have discussions with the women members of the group about their employment.

If any women has problem, then it is resolved and they are motivated to perform economic activities. In the meeting, they are informed about new financial schemes and promoted to be associated with them in order to get them benefit of such schemes. All members deposit their savings to the treasurer in the meeting which is utilized by these members as per the requirements. All women are happy as they have a better source of earning.

Many thanks again for your support!!

We will continue to keep you updated about our work and events of the following months.
