A training program is designed for 20 youth coming from thriftily backward community from the slums of Ahmedabad. The training program provides knowledge of BPO, Basic English, Basic Computer and Life skill. The program will give an opportunity to youth to domicile themselves on an equal footing in the increasingly competitive job market.
The challenges of youth coming from economically retrograde community are innumerable. Not only their education level demands extra inputs to be at par with educated youth, economic disadvantage further pushes them to uncertainty in the job market is concerned. Lack of confidence and disempowerment is also hurdle for the youth from slum of Ahmedabad.
The training module thus designed will allow the participants overcome the challenges mentioned above. With minimum knowledge gained in BPO, Basic English, Basic Computer and Life skill the participants will be fortified with the entry level expertise in the industrial job market. This program will provide a certificate to participants to ensure their validity and standing in the industry. This program will act as a podium to combat unemployment of the youth
The project will provide training and entry in the formal job market to 20 young adults. This will increase their self-respect, quality of life and improvement in their economic condition.
