We have come up with a training module specially designed for 20 youth students with Orthopedic Impairment and Disability coming from economically backward community from the slums of Ahmedabad. The training program provides knowledge of BPO, Basic English, Basic Computer and Life skill. The program will give an opportunity to the differently abled youth to place themselves on an equal footing in the increasingly competitive job market.
The challenges of the differently abled youth coming from economically backward community are countless. Not only their physical condition demands extra ordinary inputs to be at par with normal youth, economic disadvantage further pushes then to uncertainty as far as the job market is concerned. Lack of exposure to English education also leads to low level of confidence and empowerment.
The training program thus designed will enable the participants overcome the challenges mentioned above. With minimum knowledge acquired BPO, Basic English, Basic Computer and Life skill the participants will be equipped with the entry level expertise in the industrial job market. Our program will be backed up by a certificate so as to ensure the increase in the validity and standing of this youth in the industry. This program will act as a platform to combat unemployment.
