Southeastern Bangladesh is currently enduring a devastating flood crisis due to continuous heavy rainfall and the rising levels of rivers. Regions of Feni, Comilla, and Noakhali are among the hardest hit, where entire communities have been cut off as roads and highways are submerged, leaving over 1.5 million people stranded. The funds raised through this project will be used to provide dry food and rehabilitation to the affected families in the flood-stricken areas.
Southeastern Bangladesh is currently enduring a devastating flood crisis due to continuous heavy rainfall and the rising levels of rivers, leaving over 1.5 million people stranded. These people are in dire need of food, drinking water, and medical assistance. This project will help mitigate the sufferings of the flood-affected people.
The funds raised through this project will directly support urgent rescue operations by hiring boats to bring stranded people to safety. We will provide essential supplies like dry food and critical medical assistance to those in need. Once the water levels recede, we will focus on helping families rebuild their lives through comprehensive rehabilitation support. Every contribution will make a tangible difference in saving and restoring lives.
The long-term impact of this initiative extends far beyond immediate relief. By rescuing stranded individuals and providing essential supplies and medical assistance, the project helps prevent loss of life and reduces suffering during the crisis. The rehabilitation support offered afterwards ensures that affected families can rebuild their lives, homes, and livelihoods, contributing to the restoration of their communities.
