Summary

A Gift to this project will mean that we can provide education to a new Grade 7 class. Our school has grown each year and as the original Grade R class moves up a year we have added another year. January 2025 the original team move to grade 7 and we officially will be a full Primary School. But we are not there yet! We need to urgently raise funds to ensure we can provide a Grade 7 class and for this we need your help this Giving Tuesday when your donations will be matched.

Challenge

We need to fund a teacher costing $9,000 a year to teach our grade 7, we then need to purchase the Grade 7 curriculum approved textbooks along with stationery and classroom supplies, we do it every year and we are getting good at it, but we need to raise $10,000 to ensure the class can run for a whole 12 months and with Giving Tuesday around the corner it is a great opportunity to raise the funds for 2025. Help us bring education to people in poor communities across Africa.

Solution

Gifts to this mircoproject will allow us to recruit a good quality Grade 7 teacher and keep them for at least 1 full year, we will also be able to ensure we are setup and equipped to provide Grade 7 education through the essential resources and materials needed.

Long-Term Impact

Providing quality education we are inspiring young people to become change makers in the struggling communities, it is a long process but one that has great potential of success
