Educating the children of under privileged such as widows, the destitute, the differently-abled, and patients of cancer and AIDS workers, is the surest way to help them create opportunities for sustainable and viable economic growth and a future for themselves. We help these children with quality education, provide good infrastructure, provide water and sanitation facilities and where necessary, monitor their family environment, feed them, give them medical care to do better in studies.
This project aims at providing educational grant for 1000 underprivileged children whom education was not affordable, reduce the school drop outs and for those poor parents unable to cover all the costs involved. Funds will be used to support their school fees, books and uniforms. In many deserving children we take care of their soft skills training so as to increase their employ ability . The holistic approach of this project would aim at addressing children education and employment.
We cover school fees and provide uniforms and essential materials like notebooks, pens, pencils and text books for 1000 students throughout Tamil Nadu. Based on referrals we give priority to children of widows, the disabled, and the destitute; examples of this being 200 children rehabilitated from Child labour in Sivakasi, children of leprosy patients in Venkatapuram, and underprivileged children in Chidambaram. Education gives skills and tools necessary for sustainability and employ ability.
We utilize the fund generated to provide educational support to 1000 students in Tamil Nadu. We believe that education was central to the moral fulfilment of individuals and the well-being of the society in which they live. Education not only enables individuals to perform better in the studies, enhancing their skills to find a job , but also helps to improve their overall health, promote active citizenship. Therefore our support to education as stated above has a long term impact.
