By Isabel Lozano Maurer | We will keep working for the children of the Coast
We made these campaing "Covid19: Schools of the Chiapas Coast" becuase we belive that children have the rigth to have decent sapaces to be able to fully develop. During this time of the campaign we had the opportunity to create a space between Digna Ochoa Human Center Right and NGOimpacto to train through some communication tools. We are sure that this knowledge is going to help us manage new fundraising campaigns and our social networks, As the Digna Ochoa Human Rights Center said, this campaign has taught us many lessons that we know will serve us well in the long run.
With the donations collected in this campaign $496 dollars (we know we stay far from the goal) we decide to use it to buy health supplies material as face mask and antibacterial gel ( many of the school dosen´t have acceso to water) for some of the educational center´s people.
We did some meetings with all the care measures with the council of parents of the different educational centers (because of the pandemic, Schools in Mexico are still closed), we believe that it is very important to create these dialogue spaces to inform the school´s community about Covid 19. Many of these people don't have access to direct infromatión about Covid 19, for these reasons we made some health brigades that could provide information and material suitable for the schools communities (parents, children; teachers), and also deliver the material that was obtained through this campaing.
We thank all the people who made this campaign possible, we will keep working, learning and improving whith the aim of being able to obtain the resources to provide safe school spaces for the childrens of the Chiapas coast.
