Challenge

Millions of children are being abused by organizations, homes and in society worldwide. A case in point is Bushira, a 14 years old school girl was defiled by her paternal uncle, sustained severe injuries leading to a raptured uterus and bled profusely. Child Abuse occurs in many forms, children escaping brutal wars are sexually exploited claiming to rescue them, powerful organizations covering up child abuse by their staff, children subjected to abuse by being blamed, stigmatized.

Solution

The project will dedicatedly and tirelessly defend children's rights to be safe in all organizations and in communities and fight for care, divinity and justice for children subjected to abuse so that what happened to Bushira doesn't happen to others. To prevent exploitation and respond appropriately by developing a child safeguarding policy and a code of conduct that sets out acceptable conduct around children. Develop a network of Focal Point to champion child safeguarding and monitoring.

Long-Term Impact

Child safeguarding and protection will eliminate all forms of violence against children and promote the highest standard of child protection. The communities and all stakeholders will be guided by the International safeguarding standards and the the rights and best interests of the concerned children. The implementation of the safeguarding policy will offer an excellent opportunity for the improvement of the quality and professionalism of those working with children and achieve a greater impact.
