Dear and Respected Donor,
Greetings from Community Organizing for Rural Upliftment Society, India.
Thank you so much for your timely donations to the Project of Uniforms to poor School Children through GlobalGiving Agency to our organization in India. This project was organized by CORUS, a non-profit organization that works to improve their lives of School Children and families in the most fragile settings.
Our staff and volunteers have successfully operated the project for the past two years by providing timely School Uniforms to poor ongoing School Children in the Slum areas of Kurnool city. We aimed to help these students continue their education and prevent them from dropping out of school due to poverty.
But unfortunately, we were not able to achieve our goal due to the lack of funds. We received only $ 20 in donations and local contribution, which was not enough to cover the cost of the materials. We were able to provide only 5 students with School uniforms. The rest of the students had to go without the necessary School Uniforms. These slums area School Children are very poor and their parents are daily wage labor and they cannot buy the School Uniforms for their children. With this distribution program Children’s were very happy and very thankful to Donors.
We humbly request to you kindly support the project to provide timely School Uniforms to atleast 40 poor School Children in this project.
Thank you so much
With kind regards,
G Prasad,
Project Leader.
