It is an amazing thing you have done by supporting our work in Haiti. One of our partners in Haiti is Real Hope for Haiti. They operate an inpatient malnutrition clinic an outpatient medical clinic that provides a vast array of medical care, including maternal & infant healthcare. Real Hope for Haiti recently shared this story with us.
Around when baby G was about 3-4 months old, his parents had a big fight. The father left after he beat the mother and she left baby G with neighbor M. Neither parent has returned. Neighbor M cared for him the best that she could. She came to the clinic for a check-up the next week and has been following for about 2 months now. Donations have provided formula, medical care, hygiene items, and diapers. He is growing well and now can sit on his own. Neighbor M says, "Thank you to all the staff for their support for baby G. I'm praying that God blesses the mission and all the people that help Haitians. Because of this I say a thousand thank yous. May God continue to bless you all."
Thanks to you, Real Hope for Haiti has a supply of diapers to help babies just like Baby G. I encourage you to reach me at stephanie@jakesdiapers.org with any questions you may have. I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for helping babies!
- Stephanie
