By Linda Zarate | Director: Helping Hands Project
The Helpng Hands Project this year has 50 students 18 years of age or less and 52 post secondary students older that 18. Our intention with the micro project was to raise funds to provide dental attention for most of the younger children. Unfortunatley we received only one donation of $10,00 and we were not able to carry out this project. We will continue to work on raising funds for this dental care project for the children and we hope that in the coming months we can carry out the dental visits. This was our first attempt at a micro project and we certainly need to learn more about campaigning with micro projects.
We thank very much the person who did donate and we will add this to our dental funding for the chilrden.
