We asked and you answered! You supported ten single parents who were negatively impacted by COVID19. Some lost their jobs, others had their hours reduced, while two battled the disease themselves, one endured this weakening disease while caring for twin 20-month-old children! But you stepped right in and made sure they had shelter, childcare (for those still able to attend childcare), groceries, utilities paid, protective gear, laptops to help them complete their online classes, and some even received new car donation!
In detail, you provided $5,050 in rent and childcare assistance, $1,567 in food; as well as, diapers, baby wipes, cleaning supplies, and protective gear. One participant is truly grateful to you because while she faces a worldwide pandemic, she also helplessly watches as her mother and brother both battle cancer. You were able to send her home to New York with a round trip ticket to care for her mother after her bone marrow replacement surgery. She couldn't thank you enough!
