Our project focuses on highly vulnerable families, with a primary focus on children living with HIV who are under the care of grandparent/s, or widow mothers. Because of the immunity compromised in all these target group, it is vital to keep them healthy, and keep up their immunity level to fight against the invisible Coronovirus.
On 24th March 2020, we were able to support 10 grandparents headed families that are caring for 14 children affected by HIV and AiDS with groceries that would help them for 2 weeks during these lockdown period. We plan to provide the next cycle of groceries for more families by April 14th, when the lockdown is released by the Government.
These families rely on daily wages, cash transfer, nutritional support and information to prevent coronovirus will be of great help to these families during this unprecedented time. Please support us generously to help the families in need.
