Hello supporters
This report comes a bit late, as we were struck by the earthquake that hit Turkeya and Syria and we are full on working on relief tours in the three coutnries, Turkey, Syria and Lebanon.
Myself and the whole team would like to thank you again for your support, Tunisia was a success. Clown Me In performed in the 35th Neapolis International kids Theatre Festival in Hamammet, Tunis and Neapolis in Tunisia. The festival received 13 theatre groups from Algeria, Tunisia, Brussels, Brazil, France, UAE, Cyprus, Serbia, Egypt, and Lebanon.
I will share with you a small story. Our last day of performances there, we had two in the same theatre. The audience members who watched our previous show on that day, bought tickets straight away and came back to watch it another time. And there was the new audience too.
We performed surrounded by so much positive energy and so much love. I even had a moment of a “fou rire” when I was marrying this lovely guy called “Mabrouk” ( Mabrouk means congratulations. How awesome is this? ) At the end, kids and adults kept coming to me and using the same sentence I use in my scene " “ I loooove you” and they were hugging and kissing me endlessly.I got a hundreds of hugs and hundreds of kisses after this show. Nobody wanted to leave.
When we went backstage, all clowns were very emotional. Apparently all together we got thousands and thousands of hugs and kisses. So we just all hugged and cried. We were overwhelmed. What a marvelous time it was.
I wish you all to have this much love and much more around you.
We all need that.
Thanks again.
sabine
