Thanks to our special partners who donated the funds to buy the Christmas breads, cocoa, powdered milk, cookies and children´s gifts, our students had a Merry Christmas indeed. The children 13 and under received a board game set of 8 games and a National Geographic magazine in Spanish. They were fascinated by the pictures!!

2021 turned out to be a very successful year for many of our students as they finished their studies and celebrated graduations and “egresos” (pre-graduation step). Gilda is our new dentist, Yunior our new Petroleum Engineer, Dany our new Graphic Designer, Tatiana our new lawyer and many more for a total of 19 post-secondary and 10 high school graduates. It has been a fruitful year thanks to all of you, our partners in education. You make it happen. Congratulations to all!!

Our October workshop was presented by Maude Oliver who works with a reforestation project in the sub-tropical area of the Yungas. We learned so much about the importance of the bee population and preserving the flora and fauna of the area.

In November, the post-secondary students attended our workshop on TIME: THE MOST IMPORTANT RESOURCE FOR ACHIEVING OUR GOALS, a very timely topic during the pandemic when constant changes are causing us to rethink how we use our time.

Recently Angel produced four 1 minute videos of our Entrepreneurship students who won full scholarships at the Catholic university in their entrepreneurship programme, TUSGE Today we are featuring the video he produced of Marina, a graduate from this programme who now has her own store in the small town of Entre Rios in the tropical area of Bolivia. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPER PUBLICITY, ANGEL!!

We appreciate so very much your continued support for our students as they work toward realizing their dreams of having an education and becoming positive, productive members of their communities. You are an important part of their success.

The school year will begin soon and our registrations have begun. In the next newsletter we will be able to present to you some of our new “dreamers.” In the meantime, donations are always so welcome to keep our students in school.
