We are very excited to see our first chicken coop finished. The family is very excited to care for the hens and have eggs to eat. We built a house for them last year and they are doing well with that security in their lifes.
They will pull themselves out of poverty with their own enterprise of having eggs to eat immediately and then sell the eggs for money in their village. Aragua is located up in the mountains via a dirt road that is a 2 hour walk from civilization.
At the end of the year they will be raising more chickens for food and for eggs. This is very exciting as they can then stand on their own.
Thank you for your participation in this project. Having food is an important element in Healthcare. No nutrition does not produce a healthy enough individual to provide for the children and be able to have the energy to get all the jobs done for the family.
Warmly, gayle
