Hello friends ,
Although we are not fully funded, we have enough to do a chicken coop this month. We are very excited to teach people how to pull themselves out of poverty.
We will be buying full grown hens in the beginning so they can get use to their surroundings and start laying eggs right away. At first this will provide the family with eggs to eat but as time goes on they will have enough to sell.
I am picking out a place and people that will be responsible. A smaill team is coming in 2 weeks that will help with the project and get a curriculum in spanish going for us to teach the families.
By the end of 3 months we should be able to provide a rooster and start our first hatch of chicks. By the end of the year, they should have chicken to eat and to sell.
Thank you for supporting this project.
