This project supports partial scholarships for Amun Shea students and covers essential needs for an effective learning environment. Due to rising food costs, we aim to guarantee daily lunch and snacks, safe drinking water, and cleaning supplies for the remaining 2026 school term. With your support, we will ensure a clean, healthy, and dignified school environment, ensuring that no student lacks basic resources.
Amun Shea currently serves 115 students via partial scholarships, but families are unable to cover the remaining balance amid rising costs for food, clean water, and sanitation. The surge in food prices has exacerbated this situation, jeopardizing a proper learning environment. Without support, the school will be unable to guarantee dignified conditions. This project will bridge the funding gap for scholarships, strengthening nutrition, hygiene, and well-being during the remaining school term.
With your help, we will bridge the funding gap for 115 students by covering the remaining balance of their scholarships. Your support ensures daily nutritious meals (breakfast and lunch), stable access to potable water, and essential sanitation. By removing the burden of rising costs from families, we prevent school abandonment and migration, providing a safe, dignified environment where students can focus entirely on their education and future.
Amun Shea School is a full-day, high-quality educational program that provides students (ages 5+) with the skills and tools to become #changemakers for their families and communities. Through Amun Shea School's commitment to climate action and land stewardship, innovative entrepreneurship, and relevant technical training, we reimagine what rural education can be and will directly transform the educational system for a brighter and more peaceful El Salvador.
